Are there any health issues?
Greyhounds were bred to be healthy athletes, so generally there are no notable health issues. The biggest challenge is keeping their teeth clean and healthy. We suggest cow hooves. They combat tartar and the dogs love them.

Do I need a fenced-in yard?
No, most people think that a greyhound needs a lot of yard to run in. This is not true. They will get their needed exercise in a relatively small yard. A fenced-in yard is more for safety and convenience. Just like with any other dog, they should be walked regularly. Walking is great exercise for both the dog and you!
